This 1974 Kawasaki H2 was acquired in 2012 and subsequently modified with a road racing theme by Lossa Engineering of Signal Hill, California. The bike is finished in Kawasaki green with a white stripe and is powered by a replacement 750cc two stroke vin H2E-26607 (1973). It is paired to a blueprinted five speed transmission. Features include a half bubble windscreen by Gustafson and quarter fairing, A contrast stitched café solo seat and tail section with LED tail light, Kawasaki alloy wheels, and ceramic coated expansion chambers. Additional modifications include first-oversize Wossner pistons, polished ports, dual front disc brakes, and single rear disc. The fuel tank was internally bead blasted, coated, and fitted with a Pingel high flow fuel valve. This H2 Mach IV is offered with first place Seal Beach Motorcycle Show trophy, build receipts, current registration clean California title in the sellers name. The air cooled 750cc two stroke triple engine is from a 1973 H2 and has been modified by Lossa Engineering with Wossner pistons, slotted connecting rods balanced crankshaft with SKF bearings and seals. Oil injection is in place but not used. 100 octane fuel and synthetic racing two stroke oil premix is used at 32:1 ratio. Kawasaki KZ cast aluminum alloy wheels measuring 19″ up front and 18″ out back are finished with black and silver accents and wear Kenda tires. Suspension consists of an air assist telescopic fork as well as dual Hagon shocks. Adjustable steering damper is mounted between the lower triple clamp and the frame. Instrumentation located behind the fairing includes a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with 7,500-rpm redline. Odometer shows 11,140 miles, 800 added after build.
